Maybe it has something to do with John Travolta making Greased Lightning look so incredibly cool, or perhaps it’s a lingering fit of nostalgia. No matter what the cause, classic cars have a way of spurring spasms of excitement in automobile fanatics and laymen alike.

When it comes to classic cars in Phoenix, it doesn’t get better than the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction. The weeklong, annual event hits its peak this Friday, January 20. Guests will be welcomed to peruse the selection of collector cars that are up for auction as casually as they would the aisles of a grocery store.

After the auction, attendees can catch Marti Report seminar, take a nighttime ride, or sip drinks at the Tilted Kilt. For the sincerely dedicated, the event also features a seminar on polishing and buffing that repeats throughout the day.
