You can witness proof of such at this weekend’s Beltane in the Park event, which is being thrown by the Gaia groupies of Phoenix Pagan Pride.
If you’re a good little heathen, you’re likely familiar with the holiday of Beltane, which marks the midpoint in the sun’s progress between the spring equinox and summer solstice. For the rest of us non-pagans, it’s an outrageous rite of spring celebration.
For instance, this year’s party on Saturday, May 7, boasts a holy-rollin’ tent-revival theme, where attendees are requested to don a big hat or sport some teased-up hair, both of which will get thee closer to the gods.
