Prepare yourself for a sea of cream-colored chiffon and beaded mermaid gowns. The Arizona Cacophony Society is bringing the 2015 Brides of March to Phoenix. The matrimonial bar crawl will have ladies and gents in white and working their way from bar to bar while winning prizes like hotel stays and gift cards at each stop. To keep things interesting, there will be a high-stakes high-heel race to show who really knows how to work their way down the aisle.
The Brides of March starts at noon on Saturday, March 14, at Charlie’s, 727 West Camelback Road. Participation is free. Brides, blushing or otherwise, are responsible for purchasing their own Light Rail day pass and should have cash and ID on hand. Charlie’s will be awarding one free drink per person in exchange for canned food donations to St. Mary’s Food Bank. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/BridesofMarch or call 602-265-0224.
