This fall season, we’re looking for any excuse to get outside and enjoy beautiful weather that doesn’t have you dripping head-to-toe with sweat, à la Phoenix summers.
Take a stroll outside as the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix/Ro Ho En hosts the Otsukimi Moonviewing Festival. While the full-moon-watching event might seem perfect for the Halloween season, it’s also an ancient Japanese tradition that celebrates fall. To get you in the spirit, the shindig will feature drumming, folk dance performances, guided tours of the tea garden, tea ceremony demos, food, and a market.
