Just days after advance tickets for the Eclipse movie went on sale, we’ve got yet another tasty tidbit for all of you Twilighters out there. In case you haven’t heard (which, in this case would mean you were dead, undead, or under a rock or something), author Stephenie Meyer has another Twilight book in the works.
The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella tells the behind-the-scenes story of the newborn vampire army created by Victoria in Eclipse. We read about poor Bree for all of thirty seconds in Eclipse, so it’s only fitting that her story should be told in a separate book. Plus, it gives the actress cast as Bree in the film version a glimmer of hope that someday she could be the star.
Pre-order The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner now from Changing Hands Bookstore and you’ll also get a voucher good for a free Vampire Bit Cupcake at the Wildflower Bakery next door. We’re undecided as to whether the red fang marks and faux blood look cute or creepy — but either way, you can bet the red velvet treat underneath will be delicious.
Pre–ordered books and cupcakes will be available for pickup at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 5 at Wildflower Bakery, 6428 S. McClintock Dr. in Tempe.
