Ever been mistaken for someone you’re not? It’s usually pretty awkward for both parties involved, but nothing worth making a movie about. Unless, of course, you were mistaken for a government agent by foreign spies who then kidnapped you, framed you for the murder of a U.N. Diplomat, and chased you with a crop-dusting bi-plane before you fell in love with a sexy female spy, whom you later had to rescue as she dangled off the side of Mount Rushmore. They would probably make a movie out of that.

In fact, a guy named Alfred Hitchcock did make a movie out of that, and he called it North by Northwest. It stars Cary Grant. You can catch this classic at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 North Central Avenue. The program is free, but seating is limited.
