The typical film production process is lengthy and challenging. That makes writing, producing, editing, and completing a short in 48 hours nothing short of daunting. This year’s Almost Famous Film Festival pits 66 regional teams against each other.
The filmmakers have three guidelines for their short film submissions, apart from the time constraint. Their flick must include the theme of lost love, a character setting a clock, and an utterance of the phrase “this could get complicated” word-for-word.
Festival runners pick out their favorite entries and those top 20 will be screened at AMC Arizona Center 24.
