The Phoenix Suns need to get hot fast. The team has an absolutely brutal January schedule which features seven of the teams ahead of the Suns in the Western Conference standings. A good month would give them a fighting chance at a playoff berth in the closing months of the season. A bad month would give the Suns a good reason to start booking vacation plans for April.

The good news for Phoenix is that their brutal stretch is preceded by a rematch with the Utah Jazz at US Airways Center, 201 East Jefferson Street, on Friday, January 4. It was a win against the Jazz that set off the Suns’ first winning streak of this season, so perhaps they can rekindle the same magic against an objectively bad Jazz team. If not, Suns fans could be in for a long winter.
