North Phoenix will soon find a lot more to laugh about. At least, that’s the goal of local comedians Sidney Smith and Jamie Camire as they take their knack for making people chuckle all the way to Interstate 17 and Union Hills to open up the all new comedy club, Crack Ups.

Although the location is currently undergoing renovation at 2401 West Union Hills Drive, Crack Ups is set to open its doors for a grand opening weekend Friday and Saturday, May 16 and 17.

This mid-May introduction will offer two shows at 8 and 10 p.m. while giving audience members a chance to check out the new space. Future plans for the entertainment venue include the addition of a green room for traveling comedians, a food and beverage menu for guests, a weekly open mic on Wednesdays, and a few other special features such as podcast recordings, comedy contests, and surprises that the Crack Ups press release claims have never been seen at other Valley comedy clubs.
