Every year the Arizona Dairy Council brings industry experts to the Valley for a daylong exploration of the most recent food trends. If you dine out you’ve probably heard the term “farm to table” thrown around by culinary-types, and this year the Targeting Trends conference looks to explore what that phrase really means.
The event will cover various aspects of food in America including childhood hunger, nutrition, and farming through various educational programs. Speakers will offer insight into what really goes into making our food — from farm to fork – since the event will bring together ranchers, culinary professionals and nutrition experts.
Find out about the lifecycle of food on Thursday, September 5 at The Buttes Resort Tempe, 2000 Westcourt Way. The conference begins at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m. Registration costs $85 per person or $30 for full-time college students. Visit www.dairycouncilofaz.org.
