If ASU Men’s Basketball coach Herb Sendek thought he had it rough coaching against the big dogs in the Atlantic Coast Conference, or trying to bring the Sun Devils back from the dead in recent years, he didn’t know what rough was.

Rough is trying to take the Sun Devils back to the NCAAs without whiz kids James Harden and Jeff Pendergraph. Harden was drafted No. 3 overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder; Pendergraph’s now with the Portland Trail Blazers after being taken with the 31st pick.
