Rejoice, dog lovers. It’s the one time of the year when the Desert Botanical Garden welcomes our four-legged companions. Yet, this event is more than just a walk in the park, er, garden. A plethora of activities are planned to keep Fido feeling energized. Downward dog anyone? Start the day with yoga with your dog. There’s also a bark park, vendors with free yummies, DJs spinning howlin’ good tunes (request Snoop Dogg!), and much more.
Don’t forget the leash for Dogs’ Day in the Garden from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday January 24, at the Desert Botanical Garden, 1201 North Galvin Parkway. Admission is $4 for dogs and $10 to $22 for humans. Call 480-941-1225 or visit dbg.org/events-exhibitions.
Sat., Jan. 24, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m., 2015
