The Arizona Rattlers have dominated the Arena League for the better part of the decade. The good news for the Rattlers is that their good standing doesn’t seem likely to change this season. The Rattlers are returning nearly every key piece from last season’s Arena Bowl-winning squad. The bad news for the Rattlers is that they’ll be playing the whole season with a target on their backs.

The Spokane Shock will certainly be gunning for Arizona this year. The Shock were one of the only teams to beat Arizona last year — though the Rattlers got the last laugh in the Conference Championship game—and they figure to be one of the only teams good enough to beat Arizona this year.

The two teams will face off for the first time this season on Sunday, March 23, at US Airways Center, 201 East Jefferson Street. Tickets for the 3:30 p.m. game start at $5 and are available through www.ticketmaster.com.
