Urban 7’s swanky atmosphere, hookah-friendly environment, and location in Old Town Scottsdale make it a great spot for Fashion Fridays. Unfortunately Fashion Fridays isn’t much of an event at all.
The promoters claim the evening goes until 1 a.m., but the latest installment had such a low turnout that last call came closer to 11:30 p.m. Now, if Urban 7 could rope in a few more people, the DJ and two-for-one drink specials wouldn’t go to waste.
Check out a slideshow of the latest installment here and a full rundown after the jump…

The Place: 4151 N. Marshall Way, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
The Time: 10 p.m. to 1 p.m. or possibly earlier, every Friday.
The Cover: Free.
The Parking: Street.

The People: Fashion Fridays has a very strong “bro” quality to it. Those in attendance were almost exclusively men in their late twenties.
The Style: exclusively Affliction and Ed Hardy.
What we loved: While there wasn’t too much to love about Fashion Fridays, the bar itself has a great outside area complete with hookahs and interesting artwork. The two for one drinks were probably the highlight of the evening.
What we didn’t love: Let’s just say the evening could use an infusion of actual fashion, updated musical choices and above all… some women.
Are we going back: Nope.
