Cash Inn Country has long been known as a place where the cowgirls play, especially during line-dancing nights. On Sunday, May 25, the lady-leaning juke joint goes glam when the Viva la Femme variety show sashays in.
Birthday Suit Burlesque diva Robin Harts is the ringleader for this many-splendored celebration. Under her direction, there will be all kinds of numbers ranging from stripteases to larger-than-life faux queens. Attendees can expect performances from such talented folks as songbird Pearl Necklace, Symphonie von Liebe, and Charlet Just Charlet from California. Since it’s a variety show intent on sparking a revolution, expect the unexpected amidst the transformation from boot-scootin’ to tassel-twirling.
Viva la Femme gets sassy and classy at Cash Inn Country, 2140 East McDowell Road in Phoenix, starting at 6 p.m. There’s no cover for this 21-and-over event. Visit www.facebook.com/events/610037632406012 for more details.
