A great sports rivalry has an appeal that transcends a traditional fan base. While many people hate baseball, the rivalry between the Red Sox and Yankees always draws the nation’s attention. While the extravaganza will feature numerous auto-crushing machines, the main attraction is the competition between Dennis Anderson, driver of the legendary Grave Digger, and Tom Meents, who currently motors Maximum Destruction. The rivalry between the two (combined, they’ve won nearly a dozen titles) might be to monster trucking what Ali-Frazier was to boxing.
