Don’t eat dinner before going to see Neil Hamburger live. This non-stop comedian, who says he performs nearly 400 shows a year, is liable to make you throw up a little bit in your mouth between laughs with his oft-disgusting, vile, and revolting humor. Hamburger (real name: Gregg Turkington) spreads the filth around as well, attacking — at times viciously — celebrities, celebrity wannabes, politicians, his ex-wife, and anyone or thing that he finds unacceptably alive. Ask him why he follows this comedic tact, and there’s only one thing he’ll say, “But that’s my life!”

Catch a late dinner after Hamburger performs at 9 p.m. Saturday, December 6, at FilmBar, 815 North Second Street. Tickets are $10 to $12. Visit www.thefilmbarphx.com or call 602-595-9187.
