Did you know that Ansel Adams ruined landscape photography? What say you? That’s right. Because the legendary shutterbug was so freaking good at what he did, our top three associations with contemporary landscape imagery are “yawn,” “ugh,” and “bo-ring.” However, there are diamonds in the rough like Barbara Bosworth, whose “Human Nature” exhibit is currently showing at Phoenix Art Museum. The exhibit includes 20 years worth of amazing works depicting subjects such as hunters and soap bubbles. Rebecca Senf, assistant curator of PAM’s Norton Photography Gallery, will present the “Living in Nature” lecture dissecting Bosworth’s kickass show.
