That comedian Kathy Griffin inspires fear in A-list celebrities is no coincidence. Griffin has made a (post-acting) career of poking fun at high profile hot messes such as Lindsay Lohan and Paula Abdul — not to mention famous folks who take themselves ridiculously seriously, ahem, Ryan Seacrest. Whether friend or foe, on the red carpet or reality TV, Griffin loves nothing more than dishing dirt on phony bologna, with a particular fervor for tales of plastic surgery, substance abuse, and snooty behavior.
While her brand of bullshit-calling has made her plenty of enemies (Barbara Walters and Sarah Palin to name a couple), she has a fierce band of fans and pals that includes Anderson Cooper, Cher, and Joan Rivers.
