We’ve all been thanking god for the beautiful weather this month – why not formally pay homage to mother nature this weekend at the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix, 1125 North Third Avenue, during Haru in the Garden, a festival to welcome spring? The event includes all kinds performances, art displays, and food and drink to complement the sights and sounds of the garden in bloom.

Haru in the Garden will take over the Japanese Friendship Garden from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20. Tickets at the gate are $25 for the general public, $20 for members, and $5 for children ages 3 to 12. Reduced rates are available if you purchase in advance.
