Nothing is greater than clinching a championship against your rancorous rival, so imagine the feeling when the ASU Baseball team locked up a Pac-10 conference crown against the University of Arizona Wildcats in 2007. Totally awesome.
But wait, that was just the beginning. ASU did the same freaking thing to the ’Cats last year, as well, locking up Pac-10 title number two on the UofA’s home turf in Tucson. Oh, yeah.
Beginning Friday, March 20, the Devils and Wildcats square off in a three-game set at Packard Stadium. Since it’s March, there’s not as much on the line, but any and all victories against them boys down I-10 are appreciated, especially when your team is hoisting trophies at season’s end.
Fri., March 20, 6:30 p.m.; Sat., March 21, 6:30 p.m.; Sun., March 22, 1 p.m., 2009
