Santa Claus may be many things, but a margarita-lover he is not. Used to the flavors of the Christmas season, the big man stows away a few Christmasy kegs each year to get himself through summer — and every July, SanTan Brewing Company sneaks into Santa’s stash to steal a couple of their kegs usually only available in the chillier months.
On Saturday, July 14, they’ll pop those kegs during Christmas in July, a wintry celebration held at the brewery in Chandler. Ugly sweaters and Santa hats are perfectly acceptable attire while you’re drinking SanTan’s Winter Warmer, an English old ale brewed with fresh ginger and Arizona orange blossom honey, or the 12 Daze Caramel Spiced Amber, a seasonal amber ale spiced with a chai tea mix.
