Grab your forks and head down to Roosevelt Row on Saturday for the fifth annual Pie Social. The community event, sponsored by Chow Bella, has one mission and one mission alone: to bring people together to eat pie.

This year, 15 celebrity chefs will be slinging sample slices of their competition pies to try to win over both attendees and the judges for coveted awards like best in show and most creative. Even if you’re not a competing celebrity chef, you can join in the baking fun by bringing two of your own pie creations to the event, which will earn you five tasting tickets to try the pro pies. However, you can definitely just go to eat a bunch of pie, play some lawn games, and watch The Senators jam.

Pie Social 2014 will be serving up all of the pie you can handle from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, November 15, at the “What Should Go Here” Pop Up Park on the northeast corner of Second Street and Roosevelt. Admission to the event is free and tasting tickets will be sold at the event for five for $10.

Sat., Nov. 15, 2-5 p.m., 2014
