You took Mom and Dad to South Pacific. You took your niece and nephew to Kung Fu Panda. And, now, you’ve had it up to here with Family-Friendly Entertainment. You want raw, you want raunch, you want adult.
A burgeoning gang of actors who dabble in that tricky (but transcendent, when it clicks) art form known as sketch comedy may be the cure for what ails you. Since March, Th [sic] Sense has been staging what it calls comedy that is “definitely not for the easily offended” at the eclectic gallery/performance space Soul Invictus. The group will perform a best-of-so-far performance for those of you (which we’re guessing is most of you) who missed the first six months of laughs.
Some titillating titles of Th [sic] Sense sketches include “Pussies in Heat,” “Humping the David,” and “Naked Dinner.” The troupe warns about (promises?) salty language, nudity, and – ahhh – adult situations.
