The first-ever festival will feature over a dozen professional artists creating eight-foot-by-six-foot chalk murals that will remain on view through Wednesday, April 30. Mural themes will vary by location, with Desert Ridge Marketplace highlighting environmental awareness, Tempe Marketplace using college and state monuments to illustrate community, and Westgate Entertainment District featuring spring-centric collaborations.
In addition to the professional works, there will also be opportunities at each location for attendees to pick up some chalk and create their own public masterpieces. Chalk, hand wipes, and admission are free. For more details on each location, visit shopdesertridge.com/chalk, tempemarketplace.com/chalk, westgateaz.com/chalk.
