For months, our very own Laura Gill (aka Pin Up Girl) has kept tabs and tested out craft projects made popular by the eye-candy wormhole website that even Michelle Obama has joined — Pinterest.

And starting this month, she’ll be sharing a few of her own projects and tips in person.

MAKE @ MADE is an ongoing workshop series hosted by MADE Art Boutique on Fifth Street in downtown Phoenix.

On June 28, she’ll teach a roomful of creatives how to create one-of-a-kind stencils with freezer paper and print on napkins and tea towels (take that, Anthropologie).

Your support strengthens our coverage.

We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.

$30,000

The workshop will take place the fourth Thursday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and $25 will cover all supplies, two napkins or tea towels, and a few hours of creative experimentation.
