Jane Fonda, Alice Cooper, Susan Sarandon and other stars have signed parasols that will be sold next month as a fundraiser for Queen Creek conjoined twins who share a heart.
The OneHeart Umbrella Campaign is being chaired by old-school celeb Debbie Reynolds, one of the stars of the 1952 musical, Singin’ in the Rain. It’s the brainchild of Linda Cobb, a local marketing manager for the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater in Mesa, which is presenting a stage version of the musical until April 11.
The 2-year-old conjoined twins, Emma and Taylor Bailey, require ongoing medical attention. You can read more about them on two blog sites, here and here.
The campaign’s main event is a dinner on April 4, hosted by Reynolds, where final bids for the umbrellas will be taken.
