One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local, international, in action and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s — what’s yours?

Kirsty Hall is on a year-long mission to leave a trail, in jars.

The Bristol-based artist creates small-scale drawings and installations from found objects, which she leaves across the city, and “in the wild” for people to find and keep.

On the top of each jar is the address to her website where she documents each jar’s contents, release date, and “current status” (found, in situ, or lost); she hopes each jar-finder will report his or her discovery
