One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local, international, in action and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s — what’s yours?

Robin Eastwood’s all about “reinvented vintage” — a term she uses to describe the journals she recreates from well-worn novels.

The 28-year-old from Saint Louis hopes her creations give another chance to old and unloved objects (she’s also a fan of vintage sewing patterns and luggage). Her journals vary in size and are filled with lined, text-weight paper for notes, doodles, and even ideas.

You can snag a few, and grab the materials to make your own, on her etsy page, The Fancy Lamb.
