In an effort to woo viewers who couldn’t care less about football, and to combat the already established Puppy Bowl presented by Animal Planet, the Hallmark Channel will air the inaugural Kitten Bowl during — you guessed it — Super Bowl XLVIII.
The furry championship will feature roughly 60 to 70 kittens participating in a feline agility contest using tools like laser pointers and string to navigate the baby animals to the finish line.

The Kitten Bowl will air from noon until 9 p.m. EST Sunday, February 2, giving all you Super Bowl hecklers plenty of time to plan your rival Kitten Bowl party.
