That’s not to mention how much we adore sequins for spring, as recently seen in Karl Lagerfeld‘s capsule line for Net-a-Porter and Dior‘s spring couture line by Bill Gaytten.

Style It: The key to pulling off a super sparkly party look? Balance. Avoid dressing head to toe in metallic, animal print, or any other similarly loud tones, patterns or fabrics. Instead, mix in varying textures and pick a color other than the attention-grabber to focus on.
We chose to play off of watery teal, selecting suede Miu Miu pumps in spearmint for texture and a pop of color, a gel-filled PVC clutch by Christopher Kane with hints of blue and green, and delicate Lulu Frost drop earrings.
