It’s nice that some of the country’s top indie spaces are getting the love that they deserve. And it’s all thanks to a couple of ambitious cats from one of the most selfish cities in the country.

Iamprimate is the solo project of New York City-based artist PJ Norman. Together with his partner, photographer Diana Scheunemann, the two are unselfishly D.I.Y.’ing their way across the States and documenting their experiences in an effort to give it up to various cities’ art scenes. (The seven-week tour includes stops in Austin, Salt Lake City, and Madison, Wisconsin.) The results, which should be interesting, will eventually turn into a published book, a NYC gallery show, and a “film and online experience.

Join said experience – which includes live music from the Iamprimate project – at the Trunk Space.
