Good news, Sun Devils, Maysoon Zayid is returning to her alma mater. The comedian, writer, and co-founder of the New York Arab-American Comedy Festival, who credits her BFA to Arizona State University, has made serious waves thanks to her “I can can” attitude. Although Zayid has made appearances on Comedy Central, CNN, HBO, and MTV to name a few, she is probably best recognized by the viral success of her TEDWomen talk about overcoming the challenges of cerebral palsy. Zayid will take to the stage at 7:30 p.m. on  Friday, February 27, at ASU Galvin Playhouse, 51 East 10th Street, Tempe. General admission is $29.35. Student tickets are available for $10 at the box office. Visit www.asugammage.com or call 480-965-3434.
