Foodist favorite The Clever Koi takes the concept of grandiose family dinners out of the home and into the restaurant with its increasingly popular Day Off Dinner.

The series, which debuted this spring, has already hosted menus dreamed up by Payton Curry of Brat Haus, Welcome Diner’s Michael Babcock, and the Koi crew’s former co-workers at The Parlor. This month’s installment features chef Jeff Kraus of Tempe’s Crepe Bar, known for a small, impeccably designed and oft-changing menu using local ingredients. The Koi collaboration includes five courses paired with cocktails and wine. Stick around for a digestif and an after party, we have it on good authority a karaoke machine will make an appearance.

Dinner is served starting at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at The Clever Koi, 4236 North Central Avenue. Tickets are $65 per person and reservations are required. Visit www.thecleverkoi.com or call 602-222-3474 for more information.
