All Gossip Girl fanatics (and their whipped boyfriends) know that any time one of the show’s scheming fashionistas holds a party — whether it’s a ball or a sleepover — it some serious drama is about to go down.

Since the Moonlight Masquerade at Desert Botanical Garden, 1201 North Galvin Parkway, isn’t the brainchild of Upper East Side-dwelling preternaturally loaded teens, the soiree’s masked attendees needn’t worry about kissing girlfriend imposters or finding out that someone knows their deep, dark secrets.

What they will have by way of entertainment includes performances from burlesque dance troupe Scandalesque, bands Super Stereo and Beta State, and David Rogers’ “Big Bugs” sculpture exhibit throughout the garden.

Food-wise, revelers will nosh on samples of barbecue, macaroni and cheese, and mini bug-inspired cupcakes, all of which are included in the ticket price.
