Humans have plopped their collective butt cheeks down to watch moving imagery for more than 100 years. That means we’ve got some mad skills of observation. Camera angles, lighting, and framed shots communicate an entire story. We’re so accustomed to reading this visual language that we don’t even think about the translation.

The show includes video and image installations by up-and-coming American artists Jon Fisher, Jeff Shore, Aaron Rothman, Mungo Thomson, and Jennifer West, all who experiment, dismantle, and overanalyze the medium of moving pictures.
