In a recent interview with USA Today, former Phoenix Sun Steve Nash made it clear that he has no regrets about moving to L.A. The two-time MVP went on to suggest that he could’ve stayed in Phoenix, but would have likely missed the playoffs again. Newsflash, Captain Canada: The Lakers likely aren’t gonna see much post-season action either. And while nobody could’ve foreseen the disquiet that has plagued the Lake Show this season, you would think that Steve feels just a tinge of anguish knowing that he walked away from a system tailor-made for him in favor of joining a muddled collection of all-stars, whose parts have far outweighed their sum thus far. Not so, says Mr. Nash. Apparently, stellar court-vision doesn’t translate to 20/20 hindsight.
The Lakers bring their paltry sense of synergy to US Airways Center Monday, March 18, in a Pacific Division clash with the Suns.
