One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local, international, in action, and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s — what’s yours?

by Paul Cézanne, Vasily Kandinsky, Franz Marc, Vincent van Gogh, and countless other modern masters.
And while you might not be able to match the frames or even nab reproductions of the Guggenheim’s artwork, you can now match its backdrop.
Last week, the Guggenheim introduced a Classical Deck and Gallery Deck of paint colors used in the museum and chosen by architect Frank Lloyd Wright when the building was designed.

The Classical deck ($100) includes shades sampled from signature works featured in the museum, and can be purchased in conjunction with the Gallery Deck for $150.

The colors were all developed with Vermont-based Fine Paints of Europe, which distributes paints from Wijzonol Paint Works in The Netherlands. More info here
