Since 1996, Tempe-based beer house Four Peaks Brewery has been satisfying suds lovers with its collection of locally made beers. From timeless standbys like Kilt Lifer, the Scottish-style amber ale we know and love, to seasonal cult favorites like the Pumpkin Porter, Four Peaks beers have made this microbrewery’s reputation anything but small.
On Thursday, September 19, at 6:30 p.m. the award-winning Lon’s at the Hermosa Inn is teaming up with the brewery for a four-course, beer-paired dinner. With house-cured prosciutto, beer battered squash blossoms, and hop-smoked scallops on the menu, the dinner promises to be a dream. Other dishes include beer-braised pork, crisp pork belly, and pineapple cème brûlée.
Celebrate the end of summer and local beer at Lon’s at the Hermosa Inn, 5532 N. Palo Cristi Road. The Four Peaks Beer Dinner costs $45 a person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 602-955-7878. For more information visit www.hermosainn.wordpress.com/2013/09/04/lons-four-peaks-beer-dinner.
