We watched those damn owls collect for days and patiently waited for Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling to make a big announcement.
Early this morning, she made her YouTube appearance to talk about the highly anticipated Pottermore. Frankly we were more excited to see the paper-cut animation than to hear her talk about the all-new experience and availability of the series as e-books.
Rowling says Pottermore will be a “safe reading environment” for fans of all ages to read and interact with the stories, as well as to purchase the e-books.
While Pottermore won’t be open to the public until October, Rowling says a few lucky fans will be able to access the online environment and help shape Pottermore for the rest of us … They just have to check back to the website on July 31 and follow the owls, again.
