Attention, all children and hopelessly single women of the Phoenix area: We have just the thing for you. Your favorite event of the fall, the Mariposa Monarca Monarch Butterfly Exhibit, is here.
For the fifth year in a row, the exhibit at Desert Botanical Garden boasts hundreds of beautiful monarch butterflies fluttering throughout a flower-filled pavilion. In this gorgeous display of colorful nature, it’s tough not to pretend you’re a Disney princess as blurs of black and orange fly by and, if you’re lucky, perch on your dainty princess shoulder.
You’re so beautiful.
When you’re ready to come back to reality (and your nerdy self), you can learn all about the migratory patterns of the monarchs across Arizona by attending the weekly tagging demonstration on Thursdays.
When news happens, Phoenix New Times is there —

We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
