There are some shows at the Trunk Space where you leave the intimate venue scratching your head and wondering what the heck you just saw. Doctor Captain Demetri Falco’s Home Surgery Party and Fashion Extravaganza is going to be one of those shows – surprise, surprise.

A hodgepodge of local performance artists will show you what they’re made of. Doctor Captain Demetri Falco, a local comedy screenwriter, hosts the show, which includes performances by Gren Radcliff, who presents a “multimedia melodrama” on a secret subject; local nerdcore act Ray Kurzweil’s Face; three experimental local comics; and an ‘80s-style interpretive dance number to close out the show. Seems to all make sense, right?

“I like things that are unusual yet meant to be funny,” Radcliff says. “The comics performing don’t fit the normal stand-up scenario, so this gives them an event that they don’t have to worry about the ‘normal’ audience.”
