It’s easy to get lost in the long list of concert festivals that drive music fans from the Valley, but when it comes to jazz, it’s best to keep it local. After all, that’s how every style of jazz, from ragtime to funk, got its distinct sound – by keeping the flavor of its selected region.
The Classic Jazz Festival features 17 jazz outfits that will perform over three days. The lineup includes homegrown talent and touring favorites, such as clarinet phenom Dave Bennett and crew, Cornet Chop Suey, High Sierra Jazz Band, Ivory and Gold, Sun City Stomperz, and more.
