Bad-ass ladies in killer jumpsuits are easy to come by. Toss some espionage into the mix, and the result is usually entertaining. Think ISIS assassin Lana Kane on Archer, Marvel’s Black Widow, and Pam Grier’s Foxy Brown.

One, perhaps lesser known, addition to that list is Cleopatra Jones, the namesake of two ‘70s blaxploitation action flicks: Cleopatra Jones, and its sequel Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold, both starring all six feet and two inches of the sexy, statuesque model-turned-actress Tamara Dobson as secret agent Jones. See the second film at the Phoenix Art Museum, and find Jones on a mission to recover two missing operatives.

Screening in conjunction with the museum’s on-view Giorgio di Sant’ Angelo retrospective, the film features costumes designed by the Italian-born American designer, who was known for bold color choices and elaborate prints.
