It’s a shame that Apple ditched its big cat-naming scheme for its operating system before the company could unveil OS X Sex Panther. Fortunately, the beer sultans of the San Tan Brewing Company created a brew worthy of the Anchorman-inspired moniker, which will be tapped and available Monday, December 30, at its downtown Chandler headquarters.
In the original Will Ferrell vehicle centered around San Diego newsman Ron Burgundy, Sex Panther was the pungent, aphrodisiacal cologne favored by a colleague looking to score. In reality, San Tan Brewing’s late-winter seasonal is a double chocolate porter that’s become a favorite in the San Tan lineup. Only available until March, the liquid manna will be available on tap and in cans & kegs for true aficionados to take home.
