Gilbert’s Art Intersection is an invaluable resource for Valley photographers. Year-round, the space hosts exhibitions, classes, and a residency program for budding and established creative types. And once a year, it auctions of valuables so that it can keep on keeping on.

This year, AI’s Annual Silent Auction, which doubles as an exhibition, features works of both fine art and photography from such artists as David Miller, Allen Dutton, New Times Big Brain 2013 nominee David Emitt Adams, and Art Intersection owner Carol Panaro-Smith. All 50-plus pieces up for auction can be viewed via www.artintersection.com, where bidders will also find a “buy it now” feature.

Bids can be made in person, at the gallery, or by e-mailing info@artintersection.com. The deadline for email bids is midnight on Friday, December 6. Final bidding will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, December 7, at 207 North Gilbert Road, Suite 201. For more information, call 480-361-1118.
