The local craft cocktail and liquor scene has exploded over the past year in Phoenix, so it’s only fitting that small batch booze distilleries get their very own special event in Chandler. The first of its kind in the state, the Chandler Craft Spirits Festival will bring local and national distilleries together to show off their liquid wares to an expected crowd of about 3,000 people.

Local favorites like Arizona Distilling Company and AZ Bitters Lab will be slinging samples to get your spirits high. Bill and Lill Buitenhuys even told us that Crudo’s Micah Olson has prepared two different cocktails using their bitters for the event.

The Chandler Craft Spirits Festival will let the liquor flow from 5 to 10 p.m. at Dr. AJ Chandler Park, 3 South Arizona Avenue, on Saturday, April 26. If you’re over 21, you can buy a $35 ticket, which includes 15 tastings, or a $75 VIP ticket for 15 high-end tastings and food, by visiting www.chandlercraftspiritsfestival.com.
