You resolved to travel more in 2015, but that doesn’t mean you should give in to wanderlust right away. You can take the small step of living vicariously through traveling poet, Steve Roggenbuck, whose words have had him criss-cross the globe and who’ll swing by the Valley on Friday, January 23.
Roggenbuck’s amassed a small but devoted following on YouTube for his quippy, trippy self-shot vids that are a mix of based positivity, wry observations, and angsty smart-assedness. Fellow poets Khayree Billingslea, Jos Charles, Beth May, and Elijah Pearson round out the bill with music vibes provided by Injury Reserve and Longbird.
Steve Roggenbuck is at Lawn Gnome Publishing, 905 North Fifth Street. The show starts at 7 p.m. and admission is $10. Visit www.lawngnomepublishing.com for more info.
