Nic Wiesinger and Martin Stark are collecting memories, or more specifically, written descriptions (160 characters or less) of “the object from your childhood that most describes your idea or remembrance of home.”
The submitted answers will be matched with images found on the Internet — a combination Wiesinger says he hopes will “show common things we all share about home, a place and word that means something different to everybody.”
Resembled Mementos will be part of Paradise Valley Community College‘s Phoenix Experimental Arts Festival, which is on display in front of the college’s main theater through February 19.
You can also check out the responses on the Resembled Mementos website.
