In the midst of bakers battling for television time on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, local fans of mini cakes have finally found solidarity with Phoenix CupcakeCamp, a community potluck that will serve up sweets exclusively.
Cupcake devotees can bring baked goods or show up and stuff their faces with confectionary creations at Bragg’s Pie Factory. Hefty appetites will be welcome, as the menu will likely include varieties of cupcakes — from vegan to alcoholic, and savory flavors to out-of-this-world ingredients.
